The set of guidance, options, and tools provided in this website hope to demonstrate the importance of an effective recovery planning process, in order to facilitate faster and better recovery after future disasters. In countries in this region, several national government ministries or agencies have an essential role in post-disaster recovery: Ministries of Planning and Investment, Ministries of Finance, and Ministries of Disaster Management Organizations.
